This website, as stated in our Tagline, traces the journey, and tells the story of Elnora Knights (Ponder, Stokes) and her descendants which now spans nine generations.

From Elnora’s 17 Children; 5th generation “Legacy,” shown in the above montage, comes… 76 Grand Children; a lot of them shown in the montage below:

Elnora’s 76 Grand Children represents the 6th Generation of the Ponder-Stokes Family; the “Legend” Generation.

Elnora had a big heart, full of love and especially so for the children; she knew that “you should always take time to help a child as they are not able to care for themselves.

 A few of her 132 great-grand (7th Generation; Diamond), and 26 great-great-grand (8th Generation; Gold) and three great-great-great-grand children (9th Generation; Pearl) did not have the joy, benefit nor pleasure of knowing this strong, loving and kind Matriarch.

This site is dedicated to “bridging the gap” for those descendants of Elnora that did not have the chance to know her by being a repository of information relative to Elnora, her ancestors and descendants.
